The results are in! Furia's first MU Cup has finally concluded with a resounding success! I'd describe this event as "Neck-to-neck with the unexcpected". In-case you still haven't seen them, here our your results:

Many people are shocked that Illuminati, the most favored to win fell second to Eurodancers, an MU not within the top 10. Feel free to review the rounds yourself and see what happened blow by blow. I will be focusing more on the build up before the finals where we saw some gigantic clashes and skillful clutching.

Before I move on, let me share to you an interview I did with one of the "Underdogs" of Day 1 before the the second day started. Texas Red of MU "El Pistolero" proved himself to be a very capable fighter during the first day, despite not having the spotlight top MUs have, he'll give anyone in the battlefield a reason to be worried.

[After Day 1]

1) Does the results surprise you?

Texsas Red of El Pistolero - "Well I must say we expect...or better say, hope for to be in a second day of cup, we have experience in this kind of battles from other servers so it is nothing new for us."

2) Were your battles harder or easier than you expected?

Texsas Red of El Pistolero - "In 1 day of cup we did have only one hard battle against 'Total War', we played 3 v 9 and we almost win the battle in 14 round...it was 1 hit difference just 4 k of dmg, other battles were not so stressful for us."

3) Was there anything that surprised you with today's round?

Texsas Red of El Pistolero - "Nothing new for us here, maybe the lost battle in winner bracket for 'Nation Simpson'."

4) Did you spend less or more supplies than you intended?

Texsas Red of El Pistolero - "Well, in this kind of battles you can't predicted the consumption of supply...let's say we where prepared for it."

5) What can you predict about the 2nd day of the Cup?

Texsas Red of El Pistolero - "Win for Illuminati, if someone else win it will be a shock "

Texsas Red of El Pistolero - "Win for Illuminati, if someone else win it will be a shock "

Well, I guess Texsas Red is in quite a shock. Illuminati only landed second place BUT they won the Q6 LC as well as the most battles won with nine victories.

I'm about to go into deeper detail using my experience in the event as your Combat Correspondent. First let us examine the intensity of the fighting for top damage.

The first day started calm, like the smooth winds before a storm. Everything started pouring when the double damage multiplier came up for 120%. I was faced with the dilemma whether to try and hit all of my damage then to maximize the output. Of course, I didn't know how to use the bot back then to track my opponents' damage so I had to play by ear.

Illuminati's first tough opponent was the Portuguese Navy resulting in many heart stopping rounds.

In the end, Illuminati came out on top and moved forward into the winners bracket.

The following rounds have been more or less the same with big battles happening in intervals.

Illuminati was waiting in the winners bracket of day one while Nation Simpson lost their final fight vs Eurodancers.

Now, sometimes it is wise to lose the battle in order to win the war. Being in the losers bracket offers you more fight which gives individuals the opportunity to farm more BH or deal more damage.

Our next portion will be covering the other half of the Cup: The Battle for the Q6 Lucky Charm.

On the first day, Double Damage 120% was in place. The wet dream of anybody determined to win the highest damage. As I said in my last article, people are gonna gamble and capitalize on this. There's only one problem: you'd lose an edge if you were debuffed next round if you want to win the cup. Of course, that has an easy fix, just buff up right before the final rounds and dump everything there if you you're using medkits but if you're looking for a sustained output while using the limit refresh every round to your advantage, then you might be better off using it from the start.

Bart lead the damage on the first day, reminding people what a powerhouse he is. We also saw some high tier damage outputs with the likes of Pingvin who basically carried his MU to the top by himself. The time was now since tomorrow's Damage Bonus wasn't going to be a guarantee but they could be wrong as well and we'd see a higher multiplier the next day. Thus the day ended with the players locking in their bets.

Now, personally, I was going for the q6 LC but also wanted to help Illuminati reach the top, so I had to make the decision. At the time I didn't know how to use the damage calculator bot so I was just checking out the scores and making estimates but I knew Bart did at least 100m damage, his was the score to beat. Eventually, after consulting with my team, I decided against buffing up that day, hopeful that tomorrow would be better.

The next day, Eurodancers won their battle and Illuminati followed Simpsons Nation and everybody else to the loser's bracket to brawl it out, the following fights just got heavy.

Illuminati had their rematch versus Portuguese Navy, good to note that during this time, USA was at war with Portugal and fighting in two fronts is a hard feat. At the end of the battle, Portuguese stepped out of the arena to fight the battle at home which they eventually won.

Now, getting back to the highest damager. During the second day no bonuses was around during the start of the Cup. I was dealing half the damage Bart was pound for pound. It wasn't looking good for me, along with the fact we had to fight Simpsons and Total War in the following rounds. Everything wasn't going as I hoped as Bart was still buffed during this time.

Here are some excerpts from the following battles:

It was a bloody battle but it Illuminati won for good, kicking Nation Simpson out of the cup preventing Bart from dealing any more damage.

We weren't in the clear yet though. Bart was still ahead by tens of millions and still, no damage modifiers were in sight.

We still had to fight Total War, one of the toughest MUs in the game, who has demonstrated their skill in fighting with their round-clutching coordination.

Just as the battle started, I was given a blessing from the heavens, we got a damage modifier! However, it was lackluster compared to yesterday's, only at a humble 80%. I couldn't do the math and just trusted my instinct then went all it.

Fighting against Total War proved to be a tough battle. There were some rounds I was having a trouble guessing with the enemy was gonna do but I had the initiative to deal damage so I built up generous walls with a healthy upkeep. Ultimately, Illuminati had the greater desire to win and so swept Total War off the cup.

The finals wasn't as packed as the prior battles. It mostly consisted of tit for tat and damage dumping for both sides. Illuminati took the first battle then lost the finals, gracefully leaving the stage for the victorious Eurodancers, our first MU Cup champions.

During this time, I was painfully awaiting the results of the damage scoreboards. My anxiety was through the roof. I wasn't sure if I made it. We already lost the cup, now I might lose the LC as well. All that fighting with no bread to bring home. I hardened myself and shrugged it off. In the end, we had fun and I guess that's the point in all of this. A hard pill to swallow for sure, but still a comforting mindset...then I saw the orange notification button.

Tadaa! I got it! The heaviness left my shoulders instantly. It was a narrow victory indeed! Check out the stats I got after learning how to use the bot:

A single round could have made a world of difference. Not too mention I ran out of q5 weapons in the end. I had all these unpredictable factors at play which ended up being in my favor.

Thanks again for reading on my coverage! I will try to do more reporting from the frontlines as your Combat Correspondant. Please Vote and Subscribe to get more content like this one! Peace out.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
